Acid heat correction is a technology that uses acid and heat to change the texture of hair.In the past, too much was expected of acid and heat treatments, to the point that many peoples’ hair suffered from heat damage.     At present, materials which include lactone ring structures are used in a variety of areas. While the exact mechanism is still unknown, it is understood that products able to make hair glossy often include these lactone rings. Levlimit makes use of levulinic acid for this very reason- adding heat to lavulinic acid can create lactone, helping to easily make hair glossy.Futhermore, gluconolactone is added to improve gloss and texture. The effect of adding two types of lactone is to make hair softer, glossier, and smooth to the touch.

    Levlimit is not a product that works on every kind of hair effectively. As it is an ironing technique at its core, hair with the strength to withstand the heat of a straightening iron is essential.

    Remove any dirt or other impurities that may be on the hair’s surface.

    Pull hair taunt and blow dry.

    Iron at 160 to 180 °C to remove excess moisture and stabilize the shape.
    Rough slice width: 1 ~ 1.5 cm * Part hair into 2-3 panels (bundles) and iron the tips.
    * Iron lightly in 1-2 passes. Avoid over-ironing.
